The Atman and the Do in Indian Philosophy

Ego is, as it were, the bit that you're aware of. But there's a much larger self which in other traditions might be called the atman or may be called the do. And they are about trying to connect with a psychic totality. Different traditions have different nuances and different e inflections of this am but they also have commonalities.
