Hyper Mobility and Flexibility Are Not the Same Thing
Hyper mobility refers to excess laxity in the non muscular parts of a joint. Some people that have hyper mobility are not very flexible. Flexibility is the capacity for tissues to be lengthened, typically passively. It's extremely difficult if you don't have high level physical therapy training to discern whether someone has hypermobility or flexibility.
