The Origin of Human Origins
Scientific American was founded in 1845. It takes 14 years before we even get to Darwin. On the Origin of Species is that he talks about all kinds of organisms, ants and armadillos and birds but doesn't talk about humans until the very end of the book. And you know, I think the thinking is that he was being strategic here. He knew that for a Victorian society,. every species is created, especially by God and humans of course are the specialists of all.
