Is It OK to Use Bibles Besides the King James?
Some have asked if it's ok to use alternate versions, like the new revised standard version. Other editions of the bible may be useful for personal or academic study. The book of job doesn't present us with one single clear voice. If you're taking your first real crack at the book of job, you'll probably want to read it three or four times in a couple different translations. And you go in knowing that the book ofJob will reward that kind of effort in a way that few books in the bible will.
