The Importance of Looking After Yourself First

Helen Thorne had a perfectly imperfect life. Her podcast, Scummy Mummies, is the number one parenting podcast in the UK. She and her comedy partner, Ali Gibson, muse on life, their kids and their husbands. Helen found a note in her husband's clothes and everything came crashing down. In March last year, 2020, she'd been with my ex-husband for about 22 years. We got married 10 years before and then one night I was getting together my daughter's book day costume because that's always fun. Especially the night before at about 10.30 at night. That's always when you come up with your best work in my experience.
