Is There a Divine Providence?

The Bible is itself a tale of how God exercises divine providence over the world for the sake of a good, he says. But could we make a kind of philosophical, purely philosophical case for divine providence? There are some passages in Aquinas that really strongly suggest that there are philosophical reasons for thinking that God exercises providence over all things.
