After Seinfeld happened, and your kids came, that you decide to focus exclusively there for them. "I knew if I wanted to be a participatory father, the theater had to be a very, very selective small piece in my life," he says. He focused on film and television specifically until his kids got through high school. And then now we're more back in the theater than anything else.
