The Origins of Critical Race Theory
Postmodernism was a departure from analyzing institutions and the laws. Critical race theory is concerned with creating lists of what it believes to be his core tenants. The racism is the ordinary state of society that's not a parent so there's deep pessimism about how deeply ingrained racism is, he says. It gives rise later to where you have scholars like robin d'andrelow saying things like the question is not did racism take place for that is to be assumed but rather how did racism manifest in the situation.
