Away, the True God of the People of Israel
Before god could lead into worship, he had to kill their old rivals. At the passover meal, take a lamb, slaughter it, roast it, eat it and then mark your homes with its blood. When you're marked with its blood, you can't go back to the rival any more. What god did as he set us free from rivals so we could worship him is what wors is all about.
