Are We All Born With a Pandemic?
The inability to remember an actor's name in our twenties and thirties a form of failure, although the book tries to argue it's not a failure. It is categorically different than the failure that my alzamer patients experience. So on the phenomenology, it might seem similar, but it's a lot worse. And within the brain, one is true pathological breakdown of the normal memory and forgetting mechanisms while the other is just the normal aa mechanisms that we are all born with.
