C++ - Using Map Reduce in C++
Bryce: C++ calls, what every language calls map stood transform because we accidentally already chose map for our ordered associative containers and ordered. Join is not as consistently named as some other one. And the problem also exists in reverse. So I had heard of map reduce in the whole Hadoop, you know, at scale doing this kind of computation. It's just a very useful parallel algorithm. But yeah, naming is hard.
