The 2008 crisis happened in investment banking, where the most highly paid bankers work. It is a very melancholic moment because we could have a very serious social crisis as well as economic crisis if central banks didn't intervene at the scale that they did. We still really haven't recovered fully from his effects. So rationality goes out. It becomes all emotions, psychology, and a huge melancholy about the future of humanity,. future of capitalism.
