The Relationship Between Debt and Economic Growth
David Frum: We have on one side of this like debt GDP equation is the debt. He says in history, there's actually been economic growth during deflationary times. But we are doing things that create the illusion of wealth, but it doesn't necessarily drive more economic growth, he says. Frum: It's part of what makes especially periods like the COVID experience relatively frightening because I really don't think anybody understands how high inflation can go.
