The National Assembly Is the Highest Decision Making Body in Cuba

Cuba formalized their institutional process of elections from 1976 with the first new constitution that the revolutionary government brings in. They have a free level it has free levels so they've recently, fairly recently eliminated one of the levels but the levels they have is the municipal level. There are over 600 representatives or delegates in the national assembly roughly half of those have come up through that neighbourhood system being elected up through local people who know each other.
