Germany Is Rebuilding Its Army on a Massive Scale

Germany seems to be rebuilding its army on a massive scale as well. So i'm not really sure what's going on in this whole re-re playing of the twentieth century. At least half america holds values that at least half swedish hold, and maybe even finish and swedish people at large. And so why would they want to get into a an alliance of shared values with a bunch of neandertholic american theocratic goons?
