How Do You Change Your Thoughts?

The average human brain generates something like 80 thousand thoughts in way. When your brain is moving at the speed of light, that means your thoughts are coming fast and furious. The idea that you could even interrupt that flow enough to see what the thoughts are seems preposterous. But meditation taught me that i can be the observer of my thoughts as well as the thinker of my thoughts. And when you can pause them just a little bit, and exercise also helps a lot with this, you can start to notice that some of your thoughts are positive, some were negative, and others neutral.
