Python Automation - Is There a Way to Do It in Python?

A lot of our automation in bash, and others that have been other other languages. I saw someone in chat last week raise the spectre of make files that call shell scrips that call make files. And i would argue it' a bit like housekeeping. You know, no one likes doing it, but if you don't want to live on a pig stye, you got to do it,.You know, instant well, also, im to be honest, i was there once like, i don't know how to do this atom stuff in python.
