The Differences Between Children and Adults in Anatomy
The glottic structure, the whole laryngeal structure is more cartilaginous. And as you're thinking about putting novices into the pediatric world to intubate these babies, you can't look for those nice, pearly white cords that you're going to see in adults. That's really my go-to view. If I can see the or writtenoids, I know exactly where I am. I'm very happy and that's enough for me to pass the tube into the glottis.
