Is There Such a Thing as the Real Good or the Real Bad?
The sceptic ideal is a life without belief. But in a rather special sense, the sceptic doesn't think that he or she is in a position to get to anything like the ultimate nature of things. So what are we left with? According to the sceptics according to certain er inalienable feelings, what they call pathe, we can do nothing about those. If you say, well, i want to rationalize my feelings, i think the sceptic will say, well,. you just have to go along with your feelings. In that sense, these can be a guide to living.
