Hair Dryers - The Oldest in History
In 1888, a French hairstylist and inventor released his hair dressing device. The Scrunchie was actually invented in 1963 but it didn't catch on at all. Madam Walker's Afro wasn't considered appropriate for professional women until the 1970s.
