The book of Judges really is giving us a snapshot of how morally depraved the nation has become. Chapters 19 to 21 are a horrific story of sexual violence and again it's here to show us what happens when we don't have the boundaries that God sets up in place. The ending of judges is really good news for women because it's designed to shock us into paying attention, says author Phyllis Triple.
