The old nature nurture debate is dead. We now know after 25 to 30 years of extensive genetic research lots of genes are involved in these conditions. The reality is we don't actually know to what extent the environment is affecting ADHD. Gene environment interactions can show up as heritability and so can certain kinds of gene and environment correlations.
