Status of Women in Abrahamic Religions

This chapter explores the historical treatment of women in Abrahamic religions, highlighting improvements in women's legal rights introduced by the Quran. However, it argues that prevalent attitudes towards female sexuality still perpetuate shame, control, and violence, with better conditions for women found in more secular societies.
