The Power of Proxy Management in the S&P 500
The managers of these huge reservoirs of money, which are fairly small in number, to be able to pull around all of the corporations. They can actually control them. Arguably over 40% of the entire S&P 500 is owned by proxy by these invent index fund managers. And so they have tremendous influence in regard to that as well,. Not just placement on boards, control of the boards and executives, not just however, the ability to control at the shareholder level. The future of humanity hangs in the balance as a result.
