Russia was a useful bulwark for us geopolitically. At the same time, they became our principal supplier of defense equipment. But Russia's ability to supply India those defence goods has become much less as their own manufacturing capacities have been solely tested by losses in the Ukraine war. And then as far as being a bulwark against China as sort of all whether support for Pakistan, Russia is so much more dependent on China than ever before.
