The Viking Expedition to Vinland
Lave Erikson was the first European to set foot in North America. He and his father Eric settled Greenland, while Lave would have a son with Thorgana. The colony of Greenland grew to a population of about 5,000 people. But life in Greenland was difficult as it became more dependent on Ivory trade. Archaeologists may eventually uncover other Viking settlements.
