Is There a Human Motive in Physics?

The motivation is the same as people who are like convinced that UFOs are real, coming from outer space or some conspiracy stuff. But what differs is the method to go there because then with the scientific methods that you apply and the statistics that you use in your experiments, you can actually be somewhat certain. What you choose to look for, it comes from your curiosity, it comes out of a very human place. And I would love to explore the universe in a way that's more open-minded to things we didn't expect.
