MRSA Surveillance Cultures and Pneumonia

A study that was published in the CHP, you can go to the next slide Aaron, and this took place at three hospitals in a 21 site, 21 hospital community group. They included 736 patients that had MRSA surveillance cultures done and also a positive respiratory health culture. And so within this cohort about 15% of patients had MRSA pneumonia and the MRSA PCR nasal screening had a negative predictive value of 94.9%. So pretty in line with what we've seen in other studies, really high negative predictive value when your prevalence of pneumonia is relatively low.
