Franklin: I was looking for a stand-in for UPRO for the purpose of tax loss harvesting and came up with a leverage large value slash large gross mix. The 50-50 U Dow and TQQQ fund does outperform the UPRO fund for the period of their existence, which is from around 2010. Frank: It's not sure you can make a whole lot out of this given the nature of the time period we're talking about when the NASDAQ was outperforming just about everything else. But it could give you some nice rebalancing over time.
