Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Negan has been indicted on corruption charges. He was accused of awarding lucrative city contracts before and after Katrina to three different vendors in exchange for lavish trips and kickbacks. In 2014 he was convicted on 20 charges including fraud, bribery, money laundering and conspiracy. Swindle: "I've been smeared, tarnished"
