Russia is under the pressure of a massive case of dutch disease. The economy has really become centered around exporting natural gas and oil or metals. They don't have a big manufacturing establishment outside of defence industry. So it will be difficult for russia, especially in tha short term, to manage th economy without a lot of stress and a lot of suffering.
