The Murders of Jane McCann
Jane lived only six doors away from Wilmer McCann, so her family were well aware about the murders and the closeness of them. She went to a German-themed pub in Leeds with Mark Jones at 10.30pm on June 25th 1977. At midnight Jane realised she'd missed the last bus to return home. They walked up York Road towards Chappelltown before going to his sister's house where they stayed for 45 minutes until he had to go home. The next day two young children who were at the playground found Jane's body.
