The Power of God for Salvation to Every One Who Believes

Last week we saw that Paul was beaten and stoned, imprisoned and hated. But how did he endure? What permitted him to continue on? What was the driver behind his commitment to the gospel? Well, he tells us, he says, for i am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of god for salvation to every one who believes. The gospel is the only channel and mode of redemption. There is forgiveness in no other name than jesus christ. Ultimately, paul can endure the persecution because he cares more about souls than he cares about self.
