The Dogma of the Immaculate Conception
Pope Pius IX defined the dogma in 1854 saying, the most blessed Virgin Mary was from the first moment of her conception by a singular grace and privilege of Almighty God. So in this case, she's free to say yes or no because she's not subject to sin. In his book, God is nearest Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger said, without the freely given ascent of Mary, God cannot become man.
