How to Cook Beans Right
I soak the beans overnight, drain them and then simmer them in water until they're done. They seem to get overdone very quickly - I usually don't check before maybe 40 minutes. The thing about them is that when they're overcooked, it's almost like there's an off taste. Sarah? You'll probably have better luck with Rancho Gordo. It was the first time that I'd seen them. Those are the ones that I have waiting to cook.
