How Knowledge Gets Translated into Action

There's an immediate connection between the ability to understand anything, subject to the laws of physics, and the ability to do anything. If there's something that we don't understand, then it's not surprising that we can't do it. But if we do understand it, we have to be able to test that theory. An AGI would be needed to build a robot that can live in the world as a human. That's what is mistakenly called the Turing test. Why an AI is the opposite to an AGI? I'd love to be wrong about that, but I don't think we're anywhere near it.
