S2E28: Rambo 3

Kill James Bond!

CHAPTER

The Afghan Refugee Mother and the Russians

This film basically is set in 1988 because it's literally, say nine years into this war. So to kind of like tell the Western narrative about the occupation of Afghanistan from 79 to that point, you know, through characters sort of like summarizing it to John Rambo. The best thing about this is you could put this in acts two of a post 9-11 Afghan war movie and all you would have to change is the music. It's basically black up down. Just a guy. I let die with the black up. He also makes the point that the Russians have been giving them a real kicking, but nobody seems to care. We get a shot that is 100% a rip
