The Importance of Intimacy in Relationships

Exodus is a story about forgetting God and what that means for me right now. In the Hebrew imagination, a name is not just the collection of syllables by which a person is called. They forgot God's name, meaning they forgot who God had already to that point revealed himself to be. Exodus introduces us to a God who hears and cares. And Jesus were reintroduced to Yahweh, to the God who hearing and the God who cares.
