i'm going to read you a little section from the entry on scientific revolutions in the stanford encyclo a of philosophy. The writer is pointing out that, although einstein is a big revolution compared to newton, they end up looking at basically the same phenomena. In other words, it's more about reorganization of existing phenomena than it is about looking at some completely different phenomena. i think he would say that ideology is of this nature. It not only inflects what you find and therefore what you can see, think about, perceive and do, but it also hides the fact that it is your lens onreality.
