In proof of stake, we get these points at which we can make stronger claims. And you don't really get this in proof of work. The deeper the block is, the more likely it's not to be reared. In prove of stak, because we can shuffle the validators in the protocol, means we can then just ask them for count of te fixed ticket size and shuffle that as well.
