The Indigenous Archive Photo Project
The indigenous archive photo project began around seven or eight years ago. The inspiration for it was my late mother, who was a residential school viver from saint michael's residential school in saskatchewan. She had made a comment as a witness that while we were hearing about the yoknow native things that we all know and recognize now, that took place in residential schools. We weren't hearing about the strength and resilience of people in the communities That kept our language, our cultures, our kinships alive.
