"I have a well on my property, which is rare, because it's grandfathered in from many years ago. When California had a big water shortage a couple years ago, I was the only person who could water my lawn," he says. "What did my local government ask me to do? My local government asked me to cut it out." The right way to use an analogy is to pick out one thing you think is the useful part and only focus on that.
