Kant's Synthetic Unity
Kant: If there is something greater than the reception of the content, then this must be a priori. This ability of apprehension before objects even come about must be pure and therefore a priori,. It is the work of understanding as opposed to sensibility. So what is this really cool scan? This is called synthetic unity. It's the most minimal form of experience needed for us to discover experience itself.
