The Importance of Artificial Intelligence in Search

The tech companies are playing up this hype they are presenting these systems as being potentially useful for search. I think that's the if they really cared about avoiding people thinking that it was a super search engine there would be a disclaimer on every single output saying this may not be reliable. If they wanted to avoid people anthropomorphizing and avoid people having this wrong intuition about what's possible I think it's completely irresponsible to put it in the first person when you have as an AI language model I blah blah blah no don't write it. It could produce text that would be like this system was trained on text and has no experience of the real world therefore it cannot give judgments on blah blah
