Is There a Stockholm Syndrome?

Capitalism creates a sense of learned helplessness in the consumer citizen. We literally can't imagine another way of existing because we haven't really done that most of us, most of us who haven't gone to live in Sweden where you can just call the prime minister. You'll cling on to that positive behavior that someone is showing to you or find out what you can do that elicits them treating you nicely and then do that as much as possible. It's like being trapped in a closet would install certain beliefs in you too.
