Bitcoin Isn't Scalable, Right?

A currency is intrinsic value is zero. It's just an abstraction of our time that says what we decide it is. And so with Bitcoin, you know, they sacrifice throughput of the system on the base layer. There's only a handful of transactions that can happen per second on average, but there's no cap on the amount of value that could be transmitted per second. But then over time, you'll need some sort of scalability solutions built on top of that. That's where we have things like the lightning network and some other things like liquid to add second layers onto that base network.
