The Catechism Isn't Ripping This Out of Context

Catherine of Siena talks about how the devil works in two ways. One, making you so proud that you think you're great that you don't have any sin. The other way is making you feel like you're so sinful, you're beyond God's mercy. And it's such a powerful alliance in the Catechism, Michael, that anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting rejects forgiveness.
