The Difficulty of Knowing Precisely What Reality We're In

Some philosophers have suggested that in fact it is more likely that we are in a simulation than not. Nick Bostrom: Once it becomes possible to create a computer simulation of reality, then it's likely that many such simulations would be created. In other words, the mere existence of dreams may be sufficient evidence that it is possible we are living in a simulation. Now if we areliving in a simulation, could we escape from it like they do in the matrix?
