The Importance of Race-Based Slavery
I've always wanted to have a conversation with someone from, you know, the LGBTQ community that still believes in the Bible. I think first off, we need to gain a little bit more theological humility and be open to the text. The clear position of the Bible for a very long time was that slavery was a way of dealing with sin. Just because it seems super clear, it doesn't mean we're right.
