The Story of a Musical Theatre Writer

He was a song writer sometime. Is musica gifted. He takes piano lessons early on, then gets lessons from hammerstein into how to write for musical theatre. When he's 11, he meets oscar hammerstein, who is huge in musical theatre. And steve gets sort of enveloped into the family, and hamstein becomes his surrgat parent, but also become his teacher and mentor. Has often said, if he'd been a geologist, i would have been a geologists. It so happened.
